Hope - Emily Dickinson

My new hanging baskets

.
My favorite pair of shoes...I'm dying to write on the lined one.

"Weirdness is only weird if you fight it." ~ Tomlinson, Doc Ford book series by Randy Wayne White.  My favorite quote.

Candy Rose (custom Blythe doll) in her hippie outfit made by Florance Simpson (in Canada) Mizzfitzdolls at Etsy.  Miniature book by Lady Delaney (LDelaney at Etsy) in New Orleans, an amazing, beautiful miniaturist artist.

Hope is the thing with feathers - (314)

Hope is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -

I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

Please say a prayer for me...I am so depressed, sad, broken & confused. xo

This is another poem that I've memorized. I thought it had talked about it before...maybe on my blog.

You're a colorer, are you? I've thought about doing that, but probably never will.

Love,
Snow

Marion, I pray for you every day. Pray for me, too. Depression is a terrible thing.

I love your shoes!! I think you need to get a Sharpie and write away....

The miniature GWTW book, is cute, too. I use to collect tons of tiny things, but most of them are packed away now.

I also like that weirdness quote. My younger two children and I have always embraced our weirdness.

Oh Marion, I am praying for healing for you from being depressed. It is so hard to be in a dark place and I hope right now is a lighter time for you. Is there anything I can do for you to send you a sparkle of joy?

Marion, I came over here after seeing your comment on Terra's blog. I just wanted you to know that I care, and will be praying for you.

Your shoes are absolutely perfection! I WANT some! :) And the butterfly poem speaks the truth...one's change makes others uncomfortable.

Be blessed. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope you're feeling better. I was just looking at your profile, and noted that you listed Northern Exposure as a favorite movie. I didn't even know that it was a movie, but Peggy and I sure used to enjoy the TV show....

I just looked it up on Amazon, and couldn't find the movie, so I went back to your profile and realized that there is no place to list favorite shows, which is odd because a person can spend many, many, many times more time watching a favorite TV series compared to a favorite movie, and a favorite TV series is more memorable, to me anyway. I've been working my way through the Perry Mason series for at least a year, and I never watch more than one episode a day. I haven't watched it for some time, but I used to watch the Banacek series repeatedly, and I had a blog visitor say that when she gets to the end of Hogan's Heroes, she starts the series all over again.

I also noted on your profile that you like tattoos. Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else, but I think I vaguely remember one that you got. Do you have others?

I'm overwhelmed by such sweet, encouraging comments...thank you all very much. I sincerely appreciate your prayers & good thoughts. I'm coming up on court dates this summer for my domestic abuse case (a year ago) and it's very, very emotional & sad. I'm still fighting PTSD, anxiety, insomnia & debilitating depression. I have a wonderful psychologist, thank God. She's saved my life, literally.

Kelly, I keep you & your sweet family in my prayers. xo

Terra, thank you. I appreciate your kindness. xo

Kath & Philip, thank you for the encouragement. It really helps a lot. xo

Snow, I'm a huge Northern Exposure fan & have it on DVD. I watch the series at least once a year. I can't understand why none of the streaming services have picked it up. It has no equal as far as television series go. As for tattoos, I have 6 now. LOL! I got two new ones last year: a semicolon on my broken ring finger & the Latin phrase, "Non sum qualis eram", (I am not what I used to be) on my left inner arm. I'm always planning my next one. Tattoos are addicting. Hope all is well in Oregon. It's hot & humid here...no surprise there, right?! xo
