Love Is Betrayal

❤️‍🔥💔 Love Is Betrayal 🎶🎵 by Wayne Murray & Timothy Larcombe
Wake up
There’s a face staring back at me
And I don’t like what I see

Love is betrayal
And heaven is hell

Falling
Through the abyss
Waves crash all around me, each one feels like a kiss

Fighting
Like a soul going to war
Better show me something that’s worth dying for

Love is betrayal
And heaven is hell

Hit me like thunder
Hold my head under
Wrap me in chains

Love is betrayal

Wake up
There’s a face staring back at me
And I don’t like what I see

The Singularity Lyrics - By Malojian

Plug your phone in for awhile
Watch the bars go up, and smile
Never need to leave your home
These days, kids play on their own

It's all around you now
The machines, the cloud
All surround you now

Is there anyone here
That can heal the trembling of my heart?
If I show you my fears
Could you heal the trembling of my heart?
Hold on
Hold on, disease
For the singularity

It's all around you now
The machines, the cloud
All surround you now

Is there anyone here
Who can heal the trеmbling of my heart?
If I show you my fears
Could you heal thе trembling of my heart?
Hold on
Hold on, disease
For the singularity

A Stone, A Leaf, A Door by Thomas Wolfe

These & tens of thousands more flowers have I grown, admired, photographed.  Joy!

^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^

A Stone, A Leaf, A Door by Thomas Wolfe

… A stone, a leaf, an unfound door;

of a stone, a leaf, a door.

And of all the forgotten faces.

Naked and alone we came into exile.

In her dark womb

we did not know our mother’s face;

from the prison of her flesh have we come

into the unspeakable and incommunicable prison

of this earth.

Which of us has known his brother?

Which of us has looked into his father’s heart?

Which of us has not remained forever prison-pent?

Which of us is not forever a stranger and alone?

O waste of loss, in the hot mazes, lost,

among the bright stars

on this most weary unbright cinder, lost!

Remembering speechlessly

we seek the great forgotten language,

the lost lane-end into heaven,

a stone, a leaf, an unfound door.

Where? When?

O lost, and by the wind grieved,

ghost, come back again.

Doors are portals to the unknown…

The Way It Is by William Stafford

The Way It Is
William Stafford

There’s a thread you follow. It goes among
things that change. But it doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can’t get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the thread.

*+*+*+*+*+*

My thread:

Jesus, Prince of Peace, Light of the World, Son of God, Healer, Savior…

Our nation needs revival.  God’s Spirit flows from this song. 🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼

Random Crap from a Weary Mind

 There's a certain Slant of light, (320)

There's a certain Slant of light,
Winter Afternoons –
That oppresses, like the Heft
Of Cathedral Tunes –

Heavenly Hurt, it gives us –
We can find no scar,
But internal difference –
Where the Meanings, are –

None may teach it – Any –
'Tis the seal Despair –
An imperial affliction
Sent us of the Air –

When it comes, the Landscape listens –
Shadows – hold their breath –
When it goes, 'tis like the Distance
On the look of Death –

I know my neighbors hate hearing me ‘here, kitty, kitty’ every night for the past 30 years. 😼😹 We took in a feral kitten on Halloween…It’s about to explode kittens any day now…We thought it was a boy. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Don’t worry; be happy.

Rock on, Jesus & baby Buddha. ☯️

Oh, the memories attached to this phantasmagorical song, “KASMIR”. 🥰

My beautiful Christmas Orchid.  Wishing you all a happy, peaceful, joy-filled Christmas.  I’m still fighting severe pain in my arms, back, hips, knee, etc., but I’m blessed to be alive. 💆🏼‍♀️ Chop wood; carry water.

Peace on earth. 🙏🏼

Happy Birthday, Jesus! 🦋✝️🦋

My precious granddaughter, Mary Mace, turned 18 today! 🥰 They’re in Hawaii for Christmas. 🏄‍♀️

Annunciation by Denise Levertov

.
🌞 God is light. In Him is no darkness at all. 🌺

ANNUNCIATION by Denise Levertov

Hail, space for the uncontained God’
From the Agathistos Hymn, Greece,

We know the scene: the room, variously furnished,
almost always a lectern, a book; always
the tall lily.
Arrived on solemn grandeur of great wings,
the angelic ambassador, standing or hovering,
whom she acknowledges, a guest.
But we are told of meek obedience.

No one mentions
courage.
The engendering Spirit
did not enter her without consent.
God waited.
She was free
to accept or to refuse, choice
integral to humanness.

Aren’t there annunciations
of one sort or another
in most lives?
Some unwillingly
undertake great destinies,
enact them in sullen pride,
uncomprehending.
More often
those moments
when roads of light and storm
open from darkness in a man or woman,
are turned away from
in dread, in a wave of weakness, in despair
and with relief.
Ordinary lives continue.
God does not smite them.
But the gates close, the pathway vanishes.

She had been a child who played, ate, slept
like any other child – but unlike others,
wept only for pity, laughed
in joy not triumph.
Compassion and intelligence fused in her, indivisible.

Called to a destiny more momentous
than any in all of Time,
she did not quail,
only asked
a simple, ‘How can this be?’
and gravely, courteously,
took to heart the angel’s reply,
perceiving instantly
the astounding ministry she was offered:
to bear in her womb
Infinite weight and lightness; to carry
in hidden, finite inwardness,
nine months of Eternity; to contain
in slender vase of being,
the sum of power –
in narrow flesh,
the sum of light.
Then bring to birth,
push out into air, a Man-child
needing, like any other,
milk and love –
but who was God.

I'm back.  I missed everyone!!! 🌻 My Ipad & computer died a few weeks ago & my kindle is slowly biting the dust, too.  I ordered new ones, but they're backordered. 😕 I love you all! xo

My breast biopsy was negative, thankfully, but both of my arms (biceps/deltoids) were severely strained from being overstretched during surgery.  I'd been going to physical therapy twice a week for months now which drains me and is horrifyingly hard/painful.  My hip pain was mostly resolved, but both of my arms are in severe pain.  😂 I laugh because I'm jinxed when it comes to pain...it's been never-ending and always severe.  No medication for it, either. I can't even take Advil because it kills my stomach. I'm mortally depressed most days and struggle to even get up and dressed. But, as He promised, God holds me up and covers me with his wings (Psalm 91) and I am comforted, comforted and safe. 🙏 🎈📚  God bless you all.

That's my story today.

Volcanoes - Mother Nature’s Power

That flickered in the night—
When it was dark enough to do
Without erasing sight—

A quiet—Earthquake Style—
Too subtle to suspect
By natures this side Naples—
The North cannot detect

The Solemn—Torrid—Symbol—
The lips that never lie—
Whose hissing Corals part—and shut—
And Cities—ooze away—
