Random Crap from a Weary Mind

 There's a certain Slant of light, (320)

There's a certain Slant of light,
Winter Afternoons –
That oppresses, like the Heft
Of Cathedral Tunes –

Heavenly Hurt, it gives us –
We can find no scar,
But internal difference –
Where the Meanings, are –

None may teach it – Any –
'Tis the seal Despair –
An imperial affliction
Sent us of the Air –

When it comes, the Landscape listens –
Shadows – hold their breath –
When it goes, 'tis like the Distance
On the look of Death –

I know my neighbors hate hearing me ‘here, kitty, kitty’ every night for the past 30 years. 😼😹 We took in a feral kitten on Halloween…It’s about to explode kittens any day now…We thought it was a boy. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Don’t worry; be happy.

Rock on, Jesus & baby Buddha. ☯️

🇺🇸 It’s SO FUN & FREEING to post on a social media platform with no Commie censorship! 🇺🇸

Oh, the memories attached to this phantasmagorical song, “KASMIR”. 🥰

I would like to know more about this Commie censorship because I live, as you know, in a left-wing area, yet I don't know--not have I ever known--a single Communist in Oregon. I know socialists, of course, and I strongly lean in that direction myself, but Joe McCarthy's hearings in the 1950s notwithstanding, Communism hasn't been widely popular among left-wingers since the Great Depression. If it were otherwise, the Communist Party would be running candidates. The Progressive Party (which owes its creation to Teddy Roosevelt) is often represented in elections at various levels, but I would guess that most left-leaning socialists (as opposed to right-leaning socialists) are contained within the Democratic Party, politics having become so polarized that most people are going to vote for one of the two main party candidates for fear that their vote will be otherwise wasted.
