As for the nude women, the kind of worship that such things once aroused (ha) in me was not of a healthy nature because it led me to place unrealistically high expectations of mere humans, yet I too have my altars. For instance, the goddess Bastet overlooks my bed, and there's a brass cross with the "Tree of Life" covering it over my door.
