Bad Girls by M.I.A.

I don't own an Ipod or Ipad or I-anything, but I love music.  I still buy CD's, have a record player and own hundreds of vinyl albums from the 1960's and 1970's.  My son-in-law sent me this video last year and I love M.I.A.'s music, originality and wildness.  I can put this song on replay and clean three filthy rooms in 20 minutes.  :-0

Hey, Marion, I like the photo, but if you and I are going to live fast and die young, we better get on the stick! I wonder where the heck they filmed that video.

Snow, I think we're over the hill. Way too late to die young now.... ;-) xo

PS: I found out where that video was filmed from Wikipedia: An accompanying music video for the song was shot in Ouarzazate, Morocco in solidarity with the women to drive movement, premiering on 3 February 2012. Directed by Romain Gavras and written by Arulpragasam, the video garnered universal acclaim and accolades from other artists. The song charted in the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Canada, United States, Switzerland, South Korea and Belgium solely on downloads and was distributed in physical format on 12 March 2012.

at first i was laughing along with the video thinking it was some kind of fun, and while it is, it is serious too. this is a fun, yet serious statement for women's rights in countries where women have an up-hill battle. huh. it is contagious, the music, the spirit.

and you looking so damned fine:)

Erin, yes, her music is contagious. I'll be humming that chorus for weeks. LOL! Yes, I was so fine and I never even knew it till it was too late. Such is life, no? Now I'm just happy to wake up each morning and get out of bed. ;-) Thank you for your kindness, my friend. xo
